Our wonderful Year 4 classes continued to work even after the school day was done last week, as earlier that day they had prepared for a smoothie sale to raise money for some fabulous new equipment to evolve their existing playground into the perfect play paradise.
Tesco, ASDA and the CoOperative local stores provided the fruit for the smoothie making event and we would like to thank them for their generosity.
Head of School Mrs Henderson, said that the smoothies were very tasty and very healthy and added that she is proud of the Year 4 classes for coming up with the idea and writing so persuasively that 3 shops responded to them.
The event raised over £40 and the money will be used for the whole school family.
