Both River Mead football teams took part in a Melksham Primary inter-schools tournament hosted by Melksham Oaks Community School on Wednesday 5th November.
River Mead United played really well and drew two games, to end up 5th overall.
River Mead Rovers played really well too, managing to secure a place in the final. In a nail biting finish they sadly lost out in the very last minute of extra time thanks to a last ditch effort from their opposition.
We are all very proud of their ‘runners up’ status.
Well done to all the children who received certificates to celebrate the occasion.
